Aether is an independent app built by one person — and that person actually reads every message. The fastest way to get help is email:

• Report a bug — support@aetherplayer.com with a short description and, if possible, the diagnostics report from Settings → Support → Send Diagnostics.
• Request a feature — support@aetherplayer.com. Tell me what you're trying to do, not just what button you miss.

• Which platforms are supported? iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro.
• How do I connect a server? Settings → Add Source. Plex signs in with a PIN, Jellyfin with Quick Connect or server address + credentials.
• Does Aether work offline? Yes — download any title and it plays with no connection at all, MKV and AVI included.
• How much does Aether cost? Every feature is free. If you want to support development, there are optional tips and a Supporter subscription with cosmetic perks — accent colors and alternate app icons. Nothing you need is ever locked behind it.
• Where is my data stored? On your device and your own servers — your media never touches Aether servers. The only thing the app can send is optional, anonymous usage statistics, and you can turn those off in Settings — see the Privacy Policy.
• Vision Pro Cinema doesn't start? Make sure the app has permission for immersive spaces and that another immersive app isn't already running. If it persists, send diagnostics.

Beta builds

Aether ships on the App Store, and the public TestFlight beta stays open alongside it — new builds land there first. Beta builds may be rough around the edges; that's the point. Bug reports from beta users shape every release.
